A working artists' studio in the heart of downtown Escondido, available by the hour for classes, workshops, art clubs, and creative meetups.
The studio seats 13 and works comfortably for 8 people working at once. Worktables, chairs, and easels are ready to use, and gallery track lighting means work looks its best for critiques or a small show-and-tell at the end. A picture-rail hanging system, Mac computer and Epson printer, and fast fiber-optic Wi-Fi are all included. The studio is wheelchair accessible.
The studio sits inside a 7,000 sq ft creative building with multiple art galleries, artist studios, a bar, and an escape room, steps from Grand Avenue's restaurants and shops. It's been home to a North County artist community since 2004.
Book with purpose: the studio is run by a nonprofit, and every booking helps fund our free art program for teens.
