Experience golden hour at our beautifully appointed equestrian barn in North Scottsdale. Spend a relaxing evening enjoying the peaceful surroundings and the delightful company of our resident burros.
The Equestrian Barn
The six-stall barn features a traditional raised center aisle with soaring ceilings, exposed timber beams, chandeliers, elegant stall fronts, and textured stonework.
Among its most distinctive features are the solid-oak carriage house doors salvaged from Rose Terrace, the historic Dodge family estate in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan. Viewed from within the barn, these grand doors frame the evening sky, stonework, and our donkeys, creating a beautiful setting as the sun goes down.
The Tack Room & Loft
Just off the main aisle, the tack room captures the timeless appeal of classic English hunt country style, with rich wood tones, leather saddles, equestrian antiques, French oak flooring, and soapstone countertops.
An ornate cast-iron spiral staircase, imported from the Netherlands, leads to the charming upstairs loft, where comfortable seating offers a cozy place to relax.
Your Golden Hour Experience
Your private visit begins with a brief welcome tour of the barn and an introduction to our donkeys. From there, you’re welcome to explore the tack room, settle into the upstairs loft, or relax outdoors with your own refreshments while taking in the evening atmosphere.
Our donkeys are especially social as evening approaches, often gathering along the stone wall to greet visitors. Toward the end of your visit, you may also have the opportunity to watch their evening feeding routine.
