Mid-Century Ranch and Oak Grove for Dinners and Events, Ojai

A 2,900 sq ft mid-century house behind a Spanish stucco exterior, on 1.7 acres of coast live oaks in Meiners Oaks. Five minutes from downtown Ojai, about 90 minutes from LA. Past shoots include Calvin Klein, Robert Mondavi Winery, Tommy Hilfiger and Simon G Jewelry. THE SETS - Great room: 1,200 sq ft, open plan, 16-foot wood ceilings, modern fireplace, original art - Chef's kitchen with island and stainless range, open to the great room - Three bedrooms and two baths - Expanded stone patio with pergola lounge, hot tub (by arrangement) and outdoor dining under the oaks - Smokeless wood fire pit under the oaks with four Adirondack chairs - Red barn with a working woodshop and a 15 x 25 ft photo studio - Oak grove, orchard, cactus garden and red torii gate, with Topa Topa mountain views EVENTS Dinners and small gatherings for up to 15 guests under the oaks, wrapped by 10 PM. The outdoor and indoor dining tables each seat 8. Small and occasional, not parties. Outside catering welcome, no required vendors, BYOB. Kitchen and prep area included. HOURS 8 AM to 10 PM daily. 6-hour minimum. RATES $400/hr, with 10% off bookings of 8 hours or more. The kitchen and parking are included. OVERNIGHT The main house is day use only. A guest suite on the same property sleeps three; ask about availability.
