European-Inspired Equestrian Estate | North Scottsdale
Conveniently situated in North Scottsdale’s Airpark district, just minutes from Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter, this equestrian property offers an unexpected sense of privacy and tranquility in the midst of it all.
Thoughtfully designed and curated, the property reflects a timeless aesthetic. Authentic reclaimed materials, collected antiques, rich natural textures, and architectural details with remarkable provenance lend the property its distinctive character.
The Equestrian Barn
At the heart of the property stands a beautifully appointed six-stall equestrian barn. Its traditional raised center aisle, with soaring ceilings, exposed timber beams, chandeliers, elegant stall fronts, and textured stonework, creates an atmosphere that is both authentic and unexpectedly refined.
Among its most remarkable architectural features are the magnificent solid-oak carriage house doors salvaged from Rose Terrace, the historic Dodge family mansion in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan. Once part of the grand home built for Anna Dodge, the doors now serve as a striking entrance to the barn, bringing a remarkable piece of architectural history to their new surroundings.
Viewed from within the barn, the grand Rose Terrace entrance frames a stunning golden-hour backdrop, with the evening sky, stonework, and our donkeys creating a picturesque setting for photography.
At the south end, expansive traditional sliding barn doors provide another distinctive architectural backdrop, complementing the barn’s refined interiors and equestrian character.
Our Donkeys
Adding to the property’s character are our friendly donkeys, who can be photographed in the arena against the beautiful backdrop of the barn. Closer interaction or incorporating the donkeys into portraits may also be possible with advance coordination and owner assistance.
The Tack Room & Loft
Inside, the tack room captures the timeless appeal of classic English hunt country style. Rich wood tones, beautifully worn leather saddles, equestrian antiques, French oak flooring, and soapstone countertops create a warm and sophisticated setting.
An ornate cast-iron spiral staircase, imported from the Netherlands and crafted as a reproduction of historic French ironwork, leads to the charming barn loft. Both spaces are filled with collected furnishings and thoughtful details that give them an intimate, welcoming atmosphere.
Garden Courtyards & Outdoor Vignettes
Beyond the barn, European-inspired garden courtyards and outdoor vignettes unfold throughout the property. Winding pathways of reclaimed Chicago brick, rustic wooden gates, flowering plants, mature trees, and intimate seating areas create an inviting collection of settings, each with its own personality.
A substantial outdoor fireplace, a garden dining area surrounded by mature trees, and a charming chicken coop with an adjacent outdoor sink add character and variety to the landscape.
The covered stone patio and surrounding poolside areas offer another beautiful setting, with architectural details and thoughtfully landscaped surroundings.
Photography & Creative Productions
The property welcomes photographers and creative professionals for family and senior portraits, engagement sessions, seasonal and holiday photography, personal branding, fashion editorials, product photography, and commercial productions.
With a variety of architectural, equestrian, and garden settings, photographers can capture a wide range of imagery in one location.
