We initially went with Wooden Paddle because of recommendations from multiple venues and friends. Even with some hiccups, I'm glad we chose Wooden Paddle as our catering team. Our tasting was such a fun and great experience that left us soooo full. It was then we realized we may have considered too much food! For the most part, Wooden Paddle was very responsive and very collaborative. Unfortunately, I can't give them 5 stars because while the company was going through some staffing changes, they did not let us know that our catering lead was no longer with the company. That was a frustrating experience, as it meant my emails were going unread and unanswered for weeks. All of that to say, they made it right. Our wedding day was perfect and the team was soooo easy to work with. Our guest can't stop talking about the food, which is always the win.

We hired Wooden Paddle for our wedding in May 2026. Everything was fantastic all the way through - from meeting Wooden Paddle and doing the tasting to the actual event. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful along the way. The food is exceptional quality too. My mom said the scallops were the best she's ever had (and she's well traveled)! My mother-in-law had high remarks about the food too, saying it was the best food she's ever had at a wedding. Everyone enjoyed the food so much and we didn't hear any complaints. The servers were very friendly and polite to us and our guests. We also love going to Wooden Paddle just for a date night, because the food and service is that good! Thank you so much for such a memorable day!!

Wooden Paddle catered our wedding and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. We wanted something that was fun, easy, but also felt special and Wooden Paddle crushed it. We had a few appetizers that went well with our cocktail hour and then for dinner had salad, pasta, and then 4 different uniquely delicious pizzas(delivered one at a time family style to tables), followed by a couple small desserts to hold people over until we got the cake as our late night snack. Everyone went home full and happy and gave rave reviews. On top of the food the chefs and servers were excellent all night. We had a few people with allergies that Wooden Paddle were very attentive towards and the site of their pizza oven outside the venue was another fun element to add to the wedding day experience! It should also be noted that our tasting day with Wooden Paddle was probably or favorite part of our wedding planning! Couldn't recommend Wooden Paddle enough!

The entire experience with Wooden Paddle was amazing from start to finish. Kat and her team are extremely professional and so fun to work with at the same time, not to mention the food was amazing. I had so many guests asking me where the food was from at our wedding.

One thing that really stood out was how well they handled a variety of guest allergies and dietary restrictions. They were knowledgeable, accommodating, and made sure guests felt comfortable and taken care of without compromising the overall dining experience. The food was fantastic, the service was smooth, and guests loved the wood-fired pizza.
