Good Neighbor Policy

Being a good neighbor

The safety and well-being of the Peerspace community and their neighbors is of utmost importance. As a host, in addition to listing your space accurately and doing your part to ensure the safety of your guests and their attendees, you must comply with our Good Neighbor Policy.

To avoid any surprises to your neighbors or guests, hosts should take the following steps:

  • Notify neighbors of your Peerspace listing and discuss any concerns they may have

  • Share your contact information with your neighbors in the event they need to contact you during a booking

  • Be present, have security present, or have an ability to monitor at all bookings

  • Ensure all required permits and insurance documents are in place for every booking

  • Consider if you have adequate, legal parking to accommodate all attendees

  • Require guests to review and agree to any HOA or neighborhood rules

Please note: any reports of neighborhood disruption are investigated by the Trust & Safety team and may lead to removal of your space from the platform.

Address a neighborhood concern

If you are a neighbor of a Peerspace listing and have any concerns, we encourage you to contact your neighbor directly to discuss the matter with them. The Trust & Safety team will investigate any reported concerns. Please provide any relevant documentation in your communication (i.e. photos, videos, etc.).

FOR EMERGENCIES: CALL 911 in the US, 999 in the UK, or immediately alert the proper authorities including police or emergency response.
