Film studios with onsite equipment rentals
We recommend that you start by looking at the amenities on offer. One major perk of a film studio rental in Chicago is gaining access to extra technology. Because let's face it: gear is expensive. Having to purchase thousands of dollars of equipment for a film may not make much sense for a one-off production. Renting a space that comes with onsite equipment makes producing a quality film much easier. For a reasonable hourly or daily rate you can have access to the best audio-visual equipment in the industry. Technology that would otherwise be outside of your budget.
Some film studios specialize in the kind of equipment they have onsite. They may carry a wide range of light modifiers and cameras but don't have enough space for cranes, generators, or gimbals. Others may offer trucks, production staff, and generators but not camera rentals. So you'll need a list of what exactly you require and look into working with several studios to ensure your gear list is completely checked off.
Chicago warehouse film studios
