How to plan a graduation ceremony
When planning a graduation ceremony, first think of the atmosphere you'd like to create. Do you want a solemn, serious affair, or something more dignified and traditional? Try to use previous graduation ceremonies to estimate how much space you'll need, and then find a unique graduation ceremony venue in your area that both fits your needs and is available on the date you need it. After this, you can line up a commencement speaker, as well as coordinate with any appropriate student speakers (like the valedictorian or class president.) Ensure that awards and diplomas are printed and ready to go. Finally, make arrangements for any equipment that needs to be rented, like sound or lighting equipment. Note that this may be included with your venue rental, too!
