Los Angeles is a beautiful place for a wedding, with dozens of unique neighborhoods to choose from—from the beaches of Malibu to the laid-back residential homes of Echo Park. Whether you want to host your wedding indoors or out, we’ve come up with these 7 intimate wedding venues in Los Angeles to help you find the perfect spot. These venues are smaller and more personal than a lot of other places, making them ideal for inviting a more intimate group of family and friends.
Since all of these venues are available to rent on Peerspace, you can arrange for catering and bar staff, furniture rentals, A/V gear, and more, directly from your host or through the Concierge service. If something isn’t available on-site, we’ll make sure it’s there in time for your wedding!
1. This garden loft with balcony in Central LA
This beautiful, centrally-located loft offers the best of both worlds: a cozy indoor space for your reception, and an outdoor balcony with views of LA and the Hollywood sign. The venue can fit up to 80 guests. It features a spiral staircase covered in vines and a hanging garden on the ceiling, both of which will make a memorable backdrop for your wedding album!
There’s a full kitchen on-site that your caterer can use for food prep, as well as tables, chairs, and speakers included with your rental. You’re welcome to hire a DJ, but must use the built-in Sonos sound system. For any additional services, contact our Concierge team.
2. This backyard rainforest in Los Feliz
For an outdoor wedding with a tropical vibe, host your ceremony at this Los Feliz backyard that fits 40 to 50 people. You’ll have 6,000 square feet of uniquely-themed spaces to work with, including a treehouse, pond, waterfalls, fire pit, and more. With an outdoor bar, covered seating areas, and an omnidirectional sound system, this one of the most unique intimate wedding venues in Los Angeles!
3. This hillside retreat in Northeast LA
This sprawling venue offers plenty of options for an outdoor wedding in LA. With 8,000 square feet of space and a relaxed California vibe, you can host your ceremony on one of three large decks, all with impressive views of the city and a backdrop of palm trees. Pricing is dependent on the number of guests, so be sure to coordinate with the host before finalizing your booking. There are also some restrictions on noise levels, so this space may not be suitable for live bands or loud DJs.
4. This historic mansion in Mid City
Not everyone in Los Angeles wants an outdoor wedding, so consider this indoor space if you’re looking for an intimate wedding venue in Los Angeles. This 1913 mansion in Mid City has over 7,000 square feet of space, with a grand staircase, formal living and dining rooms, a wraparound porch, and more. Your caterer can use the kitchen and pantry, while the two upstairs bedrooms can be used as a bridal suite or a changing room. The venue can host a maximum of 100 guests. There’s also a front and side yard, patio, and fountain that will look great in your photos!
5. This home with backyard in Van Nuys
This stylish home in the Valley is another great indoor wedding venue in LA. The curving iron staircase with a chandelier overhead is the perfect setting for wedding photos, while the white marble floors and columns make for an impressive atmosphere for up to 40 guests.
