Some places carry history. Tiger Mansion makes it.
Built in 1982 just off the Las Vegas Strip, this 18,000-square-foot private estate was designed to capture the elegance and showmanship of the Strip’s golden era. Then Mike Tyson moved in.
With Tyson came exotic animals, life-size paintings honoring his boxing career, and, perhaps most memorably, Bradley Cooper and an entire film crew. Now under new ownership, Tiger Mansion has been carefully restored, thoughtfully upgraded, and optimized for events – all while preserving what made it so iconic in the first place.
How did Tiger Mansion come to receive its name? Mike Tyson famously built a custom lair for his beloved tigers while residing in the estate during the 90s and 00s. His additions to the rest of the home were just as over-the-top: Gianni Versace gifted him four one-ton stone lions, a grand indoor fountain was installed in the entry rotunda, and black granite floors ran throughout.
This era of Tiger Mansion was immortalized on the silver screen in some of the most memorable scenes of “The Hangover” in 2009 – featuring Tyson, Tiger Mansion, and, of course, his favorite pet tiger (okay, they might have used a stunt double for that one).
These days, guests can celebrate birthdays, host offsites, and capture music videos in this iconic piece of history with Peerspace.
Since being restored and upgraded under new ownership, the mansion’s tiger lair is now the Koi Lair, a tranquil water feature that welcomes guests into the estate.
