Your 2027 Wellness Calendar: 7 LA Experiences to Book This Year

Los Angeles wellness experiences love to roam, popping up in hotel rotundas, public gardens, park lawns, and rooftop venues. Plenty of them sell out. We’ve rounded up seven worth planning around, ordered by the calendar so you can lock in the dated ones early.

1. 3d Wellness Retreats

Founder Dina Rezvanipour hosted her first retreat for 20 guests in the Hamptons, according to Skin Inc. Refocus, her one-day women’s reset in West Hollywood, packs intention-setting, mindset work, expert talks, mindful movement, and restorative wellness into one Sunday. Lunch and a luxury gift bag are included, and guests wear light colors (ideally white) and keep phones mostly put away.

The Knockturnal framed the retreat as a one-day escape from burnout. One guest, quoted on the 3d Wellness Retreats site, said, “I made more connections in one weekend than a year of living in Miami.”

  • Where: West Hollywood, with the exact venue shared 48 hours before the event
  • When: Sunday, January 31, 2027, 11 AM to 4 PM, plus an optional VIP dinner on Saturday, January 30, 2027, 6 to 8 PM
  • Price: $125 general admission or $175 VIP, with refunds up to 30 days before
  • Duration: One day
  • Best For: Women planning a New Year reset
  • How to Book: Reserve on the Refocus retreat page
  • Instagram: @3dwellnessretreats

Why We’d Book It: The venue reveal adds a little suspense, and a room full of guests in white makes any space feel brand new. A previous LA edition was announced at Savanna Rooftop in DTLA, per EIN Presswire, so skyline settings are part of this team’s playbook.

2. AIRE Wellness

AIRE Wellness began after its founder hit burnout. Co-founder Lauren joined after attending an event and now leads sound healing, according to Voyage LA. Each pop-up stacks yoga, mat Pilates, sound baths, breathwork, Reiki, hypnotherapy, and panels into one event, with clean-brand partners and take-home gift bags.

The goal, per CanvasRebel, is bringing influencer-style brand gifting and events to everyday 9-to-5 consumers. AIRE’s About page says it’s hosted 60+ sold-out events across LA, NYC, and Austin. On the AIRE events page, one guest wrote, “I almost fell asleep because it was so relaxing!”

  • Where: Rotating pop-up venues, most recently Mondrian LA in West Hollywood, The Valorian, and Toastique WeHo; check the events page for the latest
  • When: Spring 2027, with the exact date still to come
  • Price: Club AIRE Align is $35/month or $350/year with an event ticket; Aura is $20/month or $200/year with discounted tickets
  • Best For: Solo attendees looking for community and wellness first-timers
  • How to Book: Get tickets on Luma or join Club AIRE
  • Instagram: @airewellness

Why We’d Book It: AIRE treats hotels and brand spaces as its studio, and poolside Pilates at Mondrian LA feels like a mini staycation. A members’ event in Topanga shows how far this team will go for a good setting.

3. Roxie Sound Healing

Roxie’s sessions run about 70 minutes of live acoustic sound. Crystal bowls, a symphonic gong, ocean drum, Koshi chimes, and Tibetan bowls build in layers, and each session closes with poetry by Rumi or Hafez. Per the Roxie Sound Healing site, Modern Luxury Angeleno named it Best Sound Healing, and the LA Times included it among the best sound baths.

Roxie, also an abstract artist per Along Comes Mary, led the first public event at the Eames House. Another sound bath unfolded inside a Zhang Enli exhibition at Hauser & Wirth. A writer for SMDP said the session “put me on a different vibration.” The Along Comes Mary blogger called herself “a novice turned instant believer.”

Why We’d Book It: Timing the session to the moon and holding it under glass lets the night sky do some of the work. Roxie’s past residency at 1 Hotel West Hollywood, beneath Janet Echelman’s sculpture, shows a real knack for pairing sound with striking rooms.

4. Ohuru Yoga and Wellness

Ohuru takes its name from an Igbo phrase meaning “to refresh.” Founder Chidimma Iheonu brings about 12 years of practice to ceremonies inspired by ancestral practices, with signature crystal bowls and tuning forks. Yoga classes (hatha, yin, restorative, and vinyasa) close with a sound bath. Reiki sound healing and 90-minute breath and sound sessions round out the menu.

Ohuru has also led sound baths at Pasadena workshops for people affected by the Eaton and Palisades fires, according to the Ohuru events page. On TeachMe.To, one student described Chidimma as “knowledgeable, soothing and just the right amount of disarmingly playful.”

  • Where: Partner venues and outdoor spaces like Griffith Park, Arlington Garden, Kinship Yoga, and Reset Room; the next listed event is at Reset Room in West Hollywood
  • When: One-off events, often moon-timed. Next up is the New Moon in Scorpio Sound Bath, Saturday, November 7, 5 to 6 PM.
  • Good to Know: Select services are HSA/FSA eligible through Truemed, and a free 20-minute consultation is available
  • Best For: First-time sound bathers, moon-ritual fans, and corporate wellness days
  • How to Book: Schedule through the Ohuru booking page and watch the events page for 2027 dates
  • Instagram: @ohuru_yoga

Why We’d Book It: A session in Arlington Garden or Griffith Park pairs crystal bowls with open air and greenery. For a team wellness day, that outdoor option makes the reset feel like a true break from the office.

5. Bloom & Flow Collective

Bloom & Flow Collective began as an intimate birthday celebration during COVID, according to its About page. Friends asked for more, and it grew into a women’s community. Each 45-minute, beginner-friendly Pilates class happens on pink mats with equipment provided, plus a complimentary bouquet, goodie bag, local vendors, and photo backdrops.

  • Where: Changes by event, mostly South Bay and Long Beach; upcoming stops include Adventure On, 21780 S Avalon Blvd #107, Carson, CA 90745
  • When: One upcoming date: Saturday, November 7, 2026, with classes at 9 or 10:30 AM (arrive 15 minutes early). Watch the homepage for 2027 dates.
  • Duration: 45 minutes
  • Best For: Groups of girlfriends, birthdays, and Pilates beginners
  • How to Book: Tap “Book Your Mat” on Linktree
  • Instagram: @bloom_and_flow_collective

Why We’d Book It: Past themes have included a pumpkin patch, a ranch with horses, and a garden, so every pop-up brings its own backdrop. Flowers and pink equipment tie each one together, which makes this an easy pick for a birthday crew.

6. Intrabreath

Founder Tiffany discovered breathwork in an acting class, according to the Intrabreath About page. She built Intrabreath after it helped her release long-held trauma. Sessions move through intention setting, grounding meditation, active breathwork, heart visualization, and integration, then end with a follow-up email.

Bold Journey describes the sessions as sensory experiences, and Intrabreath creates original artwork for its classes. One student, quoted by Conscious City Guide, called a class “more powerful than all the years of therapy I’ve done combined.” If you have heart or lung conditions or are pregnant, Intrabreath’s site suggests checking with a doctor first.

  • Where: In-person classes around Los Angeles, plus private group and corporate sessions. Check the services page for current options.
  • Duration: 75 minutes for a first session, 50 minutes for a one-on-one, and 75 minutes for a session for two
  • What to Bring: A mat, water, a blanket, and an eye mask
  • Best For: Breathwork beginners, pairs of friends or couples, and corporate wellness
  • How to Book: Start with a free consultation on the services page
  • Instagram: @intrabreath

Why We’d Book It: Past sessions have unfolded on candlelit evenings and in Elysian Park, and setting matters for work this emotional. A softly lit room or an open stretch of park gives you space to let go.

7. The Shift

The Shift is a wellness community centered on people of color, built to help close the wellness gap. Founder Ruby Sheng Nichols, known as “Boss Witch,” was a brand strategist at agencies including TBWA\Chiat\Day. She’s now the resident wellness practitioner at The Preserve LA, according to The Shift’s About page.

Offerings include Akashic Records and tarot readings, energy healing, breathwork, cymatic sound baths, and Embodied Astrology. Feel Me Flow, a group format, blends breathwork, a ’70s dance party, and art therapy. A review on Mystic Journey’s reader page says Ruby “brings me back to my Self and to my soul.”

  • Where: Readings happen on Zoom; past Happenings landed at Second Home LA (Hollywood) and Odyssey 21 (Compton). Check the homepage for new ones.
  • Best For: BIPOC community seekers, the tarot-curious, and team gatherings
  • How to Book: Schedule a reading on the booking page or ask about workshops through the offerings page
  • Instagram: @theshift.is

Why We’d Book It: The Shift’s Happenings pop up in creative venues blending spirit, art, and culture, so the room joins the ritual. Feel Me Flow needs space to dance and make art, and we’d love to see one take over a lofty studio.
