It’s got florists, engagement photographers, and tons of incredibly talented Riverside wedding videographers to capture every moment of your special day. Check out some of our faves!
Riverside wedding photographer Adriana Ybarra doesn’t just stop at stills. She’s also a hugely talented cinematographer. A SoCal girl with trusty Nikon equipment, Adriana works alongside her husband, Ray, to produce jaw-dropping wedding films. Adriana is obsessed with shooting her clients as naturally as possible and, as a result, is the first to go out of her way to chase down natural light in order to get her footage. Although she sometimes uses professional lighting if needed, one of the best parts about SoCal weddings is that the light is so naturally bright there’s no better place for it.
2. Skyla Guy of Wanderland Media
Skyla was shooting weddings right out of college. Making wedding films was all she wanted to do, but it was also something she had a natural aptitude for. Four years and over 40 weddings later, Skyla is heading her own business and team at Wanderland Media. We haven’t seen many wedding videographers whose style can change from film to film at the couples’ request quite like those Skyla makes. She can create fun and exciting videos, romantic and cinematic movies, as well as intimate, sincerely human films. And she’s great at all of them.
Award-winning cinematographer Brian Garcia’s life revolves around filmmaking. As well as being a renowned Riverside wedding videographer, he pulls double duty as a high school video production teacher. Although he’s been making films for years, he only put himself fully into his wedding videos in 2019.
His editing style is unique to wedding films in a refreshing way. They bring each couple to the fore, neglecting cinematic wedding styles for quick transitions and overlaid images that match the chosen songs so well. Watching one of his videos makes you feel like you know the couple, and we’re obsessed with his use of vibrant color, which is something so many wedding cinematographers neglect.
Richard Nay is a master of color, depth, and framing. To be honest, he’s a master of cinematography in general. His intimate, cinematic approach to filming weddings come to life as he’s capturing his shots, and it remains sustained during the editing process. Able to keep things clean, yet never washed out or blurred, he uses coloring we can completely get behind. No greens, blacks, reds, or whites are lost, nor is a single speck of dust or intricate piece of lace. Loving it.
Micah and Rebecca are the profoundly talented husband-and-wife duo behind this wedding videography outfit. When we watch their films, we can’t get enough of the energy, the frames, the shots, the colors, the energy, the overlays. They’re also adept at making more traditional, low-key wedding films that have the best use of music. If you’re looking for inspired, real-deal Riverside wedding videographers who know their stuff, you should definitely check out their enviable portfolio.
6. Mackenzie Marts of For the Honor Productions
With more than a decade of filmmaking experience under her belt, Mackenzie Marts is a master of her craft. Her videography is youthful and refreshing, mixing naturally captured moments with posed ones that never seem to feel posed. We love so many of the shots in this video featured above. One of the things we appreciate most about her videos is the smooth quality of the color, desaturated just enough to make realism a dream. Such a romantic idea executed perfectly.
Whether you’re going with a historic mansion or museum, Riverside is packed with ideas and opportunities to make your wedding day a little bit more special. And, if you ask us, any one of these Riverside wedding videographers will do an amazing job of making that day last forever.
