To choose the optimal fundraising
event space you'll need, first determine how many people will be attending. Fundraisers with fewer than 200 guests should be held in a space that keeps the event feeling intimate without crowding the group. These include the private dining halls of local restaurants and bars. Some of these spaces are set apart from the main dining room but you may opt to book both if your guest list is large enough.
Lofts and party halls also offer spaces suitable for fundraisers. You'll have more of a blank slate to work with in terms of decorations since restaurant private event spaces tend to be fully decorated. A loft or party hall, on the other hand, provides an open space waiting for you to decide the locations of tables for seating, a stage for presenters, separate rooms for discussions, if any, and more.
Does your fundraiser need separate areas for dancing, cocktails, dinner, or educational events? Why not host one at a local hotel? The fundraiser itself can be held in the hotel's convention hall or conference room, a large venue with room for hundreds of guests. Separate events like presentations or breakout sessions can be moved to any of the nearby classrooms, offices, banquet halls, and other facilities on the hotel grounds!
