As important as the amenities of a space is, the sound environment is also important. Interview filming locations have to be quiet since filming is typically done at normal speaking volume. Sensitive audio equipment will pick up the sounds of traffic, work in adjacent rooms, and other distractions with ease.
Film production companies provide the best audio environments for quiet interviews. You can also look at lofts inside of creative complexes. Loft spaces are flexible and affordable, rentable by the hour. If the loft is designed with the needs of filmmakers in mind, it will likely have some degree of soundproofing to screen out unwanted sounds.
You can also choose to work inside of a library
conference room, coworking complex office, university classroom, or other space. These venues are all quiet since they're meant to be work and study spaces. Most aren't soundproofed, however. That said, if you can reserve a room in the heart of the building you stand the best chance of screening out all sounds from outside the building!
