Feeling sleepless after perusing through countless winter wedding venues in Seattle? We understand that the cold weather brings challenges in finding the right venue. That’s why we’ve conveniently gathered these nine winter-friendly spaces in the great state of Washington. Check them out!
1. Throw a glamorous vintage wedding in a Georgetown space full of nostalgia
This may be the ultimate retro Seattle winter wedding venue. Adorned with a jukebox and 1950’s-era kitchen, this unique space boasts vintage treasures and large lounge area — which also has its own antique bar. The Georgetown getaway can accommodate up to 200 people, and pricing is customizable based on the date and number of hours you’d like to spend in the venue. Plus, rates include post-event clean-up and an on-site manager for the duration of the ceremony.
2. Host the wedding of the decade in this gorgeous downtown Seattle loft
Just one block from the classic Seattle Art Museum Olympic Sculpture Park, this venue is an Emerald City work of art. The large garage-style windows let in plenty of natural light to show off your decor — even on the dreariest winter day. The amenities include a full kitchen, two bathrooms, banquet tables, chairs, a dressing room, and in-house sound system.
We know the host can make or break a venue rental experience. That’s why all Peerspace listings include real reviews and direct contact to the host. One Peerspace customer found the host of this loft to be especially welcoming and helpful, saying:
First off, Rocky is incredible. From first contact and beyond, he was more than accommodating and friendly. The communication was great and the hospitality was superb. Regardless of the request, he was able to improvise and do all he could to make sure we were set up for a great time. We really appreciated having him available and would book at the same venue in a heartbeat.– Cory J.
3. Dance the night away at this historic building in the Industrial District
Industrial spaces that are decorated with elegant touches are one of our favorite choices for Seattle winter wedding venues. This eclectic and charming space blends contemporary amenities in a rustic vintage setting within a spacious interior. Perks include dimmable lighting, chairs, tables, and abundant free parking. The customizable 2,500-square-foot space can hold 40 to 200 guests. Another highlight is that you can choose your own caterers!
4. Make it a timeless event at this historic Capitol Hill venue
This swanky, expansive event house is large enough to accommodate over 200 guests. Some Seattle winter wedding venues need to be indoor-based, as well as feature different rooms for guests to spread out and explore. Built nearly a century ago, this Capitol Hill home in the historic Harvard-Belmont Landmark District was inspired by George Washington’s beloved Mount Vernon home.
The three floors and period furniture add an extra layer of class to your special day. Plus, you can even arrange valet for the event through the host. An on-site manager, tables, chairs, China, cutlery, and candelabras are also included.
5. Impress your guests at this grand West Seattle space
The photos at this breathtaking Seattle winter wedding venue speak for themselves. And this West Seattle space will make the spouses-to-be — as well as guests — feel like they’re in a modern fairytale for a day. Originally opened as a church in 1929, the Art-Deco style building has been transformed into a dramatic and distinctive venue. Arrive in a (possibly) snow-dusted garden courtyard that leads to the venue’s grand foyer. From the foyer, descend to the colorful speakeasy room or work your way up to the grand room, enclosed in floor-to-ceiling windows wrapped in beautiful custom velvet drapes and chandeliers.
6. Celebrate at this intimate venue in Capitol Hill
A hidden gem tucked underneath the bustling streets, this 5,000-square-foot space has great lighting, a prep area made for caterers, and a plug-and-go sound system. Admire the classic brick walls and charming lighting with up to 220 of your friends and family. Then, dance to your favorite playlist all night long.
7. Be charmed by the beauty of this Belltown venue with a rooftop deck
Whether you need only a few rooms or the entire venue, this Belltown space is the queen of customization. The hosts will be there for you from the beginning to help decide what size is right for your wedding party. You can also get help throughout the planning process from Peerspace’s Concierge service — which can find the best caterers, equipment, and entertainment.
8. Entertain up to 400 guests at this large Fremont atrium
Once a working foundry, the main atrium of this dreamy Seattle winter wedding venue has a 20-foot oak ceiling with exposed steel beams, a sky-lit cement wall, surrounding mezzanine walkway, oversized industrial doors, and rich hardwood flooring. Other features include a warming kitchen and state-of-the-art sound system.
9. Fall in love with this spacious downtown Seattle studio with plenty of natural light
Seattle winter wedding venues are all about location and amenities. You want your destination to be central to transportation and nearby hotels, while also being somewhat affordable. This downtown Seattle warehouse is right in the historical district of Pioneer Square. It’s one of the city’s premiere mix-use event spaces, venues, and creative studios. Modeled like an art gallery, the 1908 building fuses modern and historical touches to foster an atmosphere of contemporary culture while preserving tradition.
The loft-style studio has nearly 1,800 square feet of versatile space that includes stunning natural light, exposed block walls, 21-foot high ceilings, and rolling partitions. Pricing is based on number of guests and increases beyond 75 guests. There is a six-hour minimum for the space, and you’ll need to arrange for your own table and chair rentals.
